Hi, I am Welles Tan, welcome to my blog. I had been a caricaturist for events and parties since 1990. Silhouette Cutting also called Portrait Silhouette Cutting,Profile Cutting or Shadow Cutting. It is an art that using scissors to cut out a shape of a person’s side profile using dark color paper. You can frame it like a photo, put on the desk as a decoration for memories. Within an hour, it should be about 40 - 50 cutting of A6 size to be produced, this is a professional artist's speed.

Wedding Dinner at Raffles Hotel Singapore

I had done a roving silhouette cutting service for another special date: 10/10/09. The so call special date usually is the combination of the numbers (day, month and year etc.) like this year’s 09.09.09 (9th September 2009).

Nice, classy and simple deco.

The sepia color mural painting was look like a real sculpture that was really interesting.

Wedding Silhouette Cutting

I was did a pre-event at York Hotel for a wedding dinner. That was great to meet many nice guests tonight, the eve of Chinese's Mid Autumn Festival (‘中秋节’).

Wedding Dinner

Just did Roving Silhouette Cutting for a wedding dinner yesterday. Basically, I think doing silhouette cutting in a roving or mingling style was more fun to both me and the guests as long as not in a super crowded event.
