Silhouette Cutting for Tang's Chinese New Year fringe activities

I had done silhouette cut for Chinese New Year fridge activities at Orchard and Vivocity last month, the backdrop paper of the artwork was provided by the client.

As per 40 cutting per hour, for the 4 hours event on each day, I managed pulled the crowd by completed about 120 plus pcs portrait silhouette. I would say any artist in Singapore doing silhouette cutting should be easily done their work at such speed else they are cheating the client.

I always demand my silhouette cutting as detail as possible and as realistic as possible because the impact view depends on the accuracy of the artwork that compares with the real person's side view.

Silhouette Cutting at Penang, Malaysia 5 Apr 2019

That was a great experience to have a chance doing my silhouette cutting at Penang, Malaysia at Lexis Hotel on early of April.

It was my second time to Penang after my secondary school holiday till now, in my age of 50! Haahaa!

I not a travel enthusiast but my event booking made me travel ;p

I found many delicious food in Penang and I really enjoy it!

Had dine in this "The Little Chef " western food restaurant which near the Olive Tree Hotel I checked in, the food was amazing!

Another nice food I had, at the restaurant at The Promenade condo, which is Ah-Ma Panmee Restaurant.

I like the poster on the wall. The text "店有雅号，客人自到", means if the shop had a reputation, the customer will come automatically"!

Yes! If you tried your best to provide good product, your customer will come to look for your instead you go to look for them ;p

Taking a short holiday to visit my parents in Sydney, Australia and just did some free Silhouette cutting for the caring and friendly staffs who take care my father who stay in home care down here.

Cutting silhouette of the guest who wearing glasses, is a very basic skill in Singapore, those claim himself / herself an silhouette artist but not even can produce silhouette for the guest who wearing glasses, they are fake artist because they thought guests and client do not know what is silhouette cutting.

Frankly, silhouette cutting, demand as accurate as possible, as realistic as possible; anyone claim they are producing "caricature style silhouette cutting", they are fake.

Portrait Silhouette Cutting is a serious art that the artist demand the artwork must as close as the real person, try obtain percent looks a like, nothing to be allow to do a rough artwork, you got to b really practice hard and it is a real skill that not playing cheat;  unfortunately there are too many fake artists in the market now.

It was a real great unforgettable experience to do event in the country I never go before ;p

Event at Safra Toa Payoh

Did silhouette cutting fora private event to night. Managed to do couple silhouette cutting during the starting timing when not much guests queuing at my booth.

To produce a 2 in one couple cutting, the scoring and the ration of the portrait must very accurate, otherwise will became an ugly artwork.

The more complex of the hair style will be produce a much more visual-able artwork.

Volunteers' Appreciation Night 2018

Great that I had a chance involve in Volunteers' Appreciation Night  to do my silhouette cutting at Asian Civilization Museum again ;p  I felt blessed that one of a Japanese guests took some pictures of me at work and sent them to me!
