Paper Cutting

Just saw this photo from today’s newspaper, did a silhouette for it.The masked navy officer is very hard to see in our usual life, it is quiet unique to me, just a silhouette for it.After totally 5 hours which split into 2 weeks, finally I completer this “Million Dollars” Chinese wording paper cutting in 4pcs stacked of 120gsm gold paper. I don’t think will do this design for event, just for my own art pieces purpose, because it really difficult to use hand cut and real time consuming. Heehee!

Swordsman. 刀客

When I tidy up my house, my drawers and begs, I realised I am having so many scissors! Haahaa! Just put them together and took a photo.This is my ‘Final Fantasy Secret Weapon’!!!!! Don’t play play! Heehee!Hmm…..I must tell you the current feeling of me like the swords men in Chinese martial art movie talking about:

作为一名刀客，绝对刀不离身！
身为刀客，一定要了解刀的意义！
刀狂人更狂，刀冷人不冷!

In English:
As a swords men, never left your sword else where!
As a swords man, you should know why you carry it!
You’re as mad as your sword or even much more than that!
Your sword is cold, but your heart is warm and full of passion!

Silhouette Cutting at St. Regis Hotel Singapore

This is my second time doing event at St. Regis Hotel Singapore, it was a great to met the friendly and nice guests during the event.The ballroom was really nice and elegant!Magician Quinn Cher was in the event doing roving magic.String Quartet musicians.

Event at Rendezvous Hotel Singapore

That was great to do silhouette cutting for an event at Rendezvous Hotel Singapore. The most best was the guests in the event were really nice!Saw these pink and Ox decorated taxies down the street before I reach the hotel, is was really interesting.That was interesting that found this Chinese Wealth God in ‘Fu Lu Shou’ area which in inflatable form!

That was very interesting that having a ‘Gongfu Tea’ performance by the master from Si Chuan of China.This is my very first time to see such performance in live! The ‘Gongfu Tea’ master really skilful and talented!

The Alliance World Resort Dinner

Did Silhouette cutting at Ritz Carlton Hotel Singapore. The great thing was I was able to do my silhouette cutting in a freedom way, which doing in a roving style.

As an roving artist, you must work hard and work properly, you not allow to do anything wrong or try to work slowly or try to hide yourself during your working hour because client and the organizer always watching you to ensure quality and quantity.Snake Chamer Yussof was in the event!

MDIS Event

Did Silhouette Cutting for an event at Orchard Hotel Singapore. That was great to meet many nice and well educated guests. I was doing roving Silhouette Cutting in the event, I managed to handle it because it happened that there was a wedding dinner at the next ballroom and all the guests was came almost at the same time!

Engaged by an event company doing Chinese Paper Cutting in a shopping Centre.May Toh was doing Chinese Dough Figurine demo in the event; that was very happy that met friends that I know in the event.“Tin tin candy” making; is one of the common Chinese tidbits other than ‘Dragon Bead Candy’ etc.Did some ‘silhouette cutting + Chinese Paper Cutting’ for the guests.

Event at Singapore Polytechnic

Went Singapore Polytechnic for a silhouette cutting, met many great and nice people today.
Jonie Tan the wire craft artist in the event.Singapore best rainbow calligraphy artist Dorby Yip was in the event, I like his calligraphy because his calligraphy was unique and quality, hence so many local China fake rainbow artists trying their best to copy their style.All the beautiful ladies and hunk was came to me! Don't play play! Hia hia hia!Ouchi! Still having lots tough Chinese paper cutting to be preparing at home! That’s is an entertainer’s life, many backstage work have to be done. Haahaa!

Silhouette Cutting for New Year Eve

Completed a silhouette cutting service for a pre-event at Grand Corpthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore for Temasek Club’s Dinner and Dance. That was great to do silhouette cutting in a roving method.
